TOWN councillors in Ilminster are set to join their district council counterparts at Saturday morning surgeries.
Newly elected district councillors Kim Turner and Martin Rawstorne have set up surgeries at the Meeting House Arts Centre on the first Saturday of the month.
The hour-long sessions, held from 9am, give Ilminster residents the chance to ask questions or raise issues with their representatives.
A number of town councillors accepted an invitation by Mrs Turner last week to join in the surgeries and a rota of attendees has been drawn up.
Mrs Turner assured town councillors the surgeries were not politically slanted and she was there to help townspeople of all political hues.
The next surgery is this Saturday, July 5.
