Yeovil Town's star winger Michael McIndoe probably could not believe his luck when the draw was made yesterday (Wednesday) morning for the First Round of the League Cup.

The Glovers have been drawn away at Nationwide League Division Two outfit Luton Town in the First Round of the Carling Cup -- formerly known as the Worthington Cup -- on August 13.

McIndoe, who was recently named last season's Nationwide Conference player of the season, made more than 60 Football League appearances for the Hatters earlier in his career.

And Yeovil boss Gary Johnson, speaking on Sky Sports News straight after the draw, said "It's an interesting and exciting draw and we will bound to take loads of supporters up to Luton. It will renew old rivalries for our old Watford players who were always keen rivals to Luton.

"It's nice to be pitting ourselves against a Second Division side so early on in the season -- especially with the prospect of an even bigger side in the next round if we can beat Luton.

"Probably most happy of all with the draw will be Michael McIndoe who will be doing cartwheels right now.

"Luton have got a new manager so maybe we will be able to get at them before Mike Newell has managed to cast his spell over the team."
