The joint was jumping at Gweek Village Hall on Saturday when young and old gathered to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the British Association of Square Dance Clubs.
From St Keverne schoolchildren to dancers in their 80s, everyone who attended the commemorative event had a great time joining in their favourite pastime.
In addition to the Cornish dancers, there were also members of eight Devon-based clubs, and Ken Miller, vice-president of the association, who has been dancing throughout its 50-year existence.
In addition to Mr Miller, thanks were expressed to local dance leaders Ruby Tucker, Joy Carne, Margaret Parkes and Roger Hemsley.
Refreshments were served throughout the day and there was also a raffle, which raised £80 for the Merlin Project appeal towards a new multiple sclerosis centre for Cornwall.
