THE DRIVER of a car skewered during a collision with a forklift truck in Bridgwater, told the Mercury this week that he was lucky to be alive, after the prongs of the truck smashed through the driver's door.
The horror accident happened at about 2.30pm on Friday June 13, after Neil Weller, his seven months pregnant wife and three-year-old daughter had been visiting friends on the new Meadows development, near Chilton Trinity.
