PROTESTERS have lost their fight to save an inpatient unit for people with mental health problems in Berrow.
Despite fierce opposition from both councillors and residents, health chiefs have given the go ahead to close Little Court and concentrate resources in Bridgwater.
The scheme is part of a shake-up of local health service switch more patients being cared for at home instead of being hospitalised.
