A VILLAGE cricket pavilion near Taunton has been burned to the ground in a possible arson attack just days before the start of the season.
Fire crews from Taunton and Wiveliscombe tackled the fire at Knapp CC's ground in the early hours of Monday.
The blaze was brought under control by 6am, but the morning light revealed that the timber and corrugated iron building had been razed.
