A FASCINATION is developing in Chard over whether or not the Guildhall's clock tower is leaning more than ever following restoration work.
Town clerk Nick Randle said: "It is not leaning any more than it ever has."
"Because it has become part of the Guildhall's character, a decision was taken not to straighten it. Instead the existing lean has been underpinned."
