VICE-CHAIRMAN Rob Glentworth has taken over as chairman of CHard Town Football Club following the resignation of Jim Lovery.
Mr Lovery, who has held the post for just over a year, said the pressure of his business forced him to stand down.
He said he did not wish to be considered for re-election at the club's annual meeting in October.
"Due to the hard work of many of my colleagues under my chairmanship, a lot of progress has been made in the last 12 months to try and resolve the club's financial difficulties," said Mr Lovery.
