Kerrier Neighbourhood Watch Forum has won the Watch Group of the Year award for the second year running.
The Camborne-based forum has clinched the South of England regional title and £500 in prize money to invest in crime prevention.
It also brings to an end six months of thorough preparation which not only exceeded last year's efforts but set off a challenge to end all challenges. A week of community safety events saw members cover 100 miles across land, sea and air using bicycles, horses and on foot to demonstrate their strong community spirit and dedication to fighting crime.
Sandra Calvert, active communities co-ordinator for the forum, said: "To have won this award for two consecutive years is an incredible achievement. We worked harder than ever to make Neighbourhood Watch Week enjoyable for as many people as we possibly could."
Working in partnership with the police and local community watch association, the forum demonstrated a strong community spirit and dedication to fighting crime.
"We wanted to ensure that everyone benefited from our plans. Everywhere we went we sought sponsorship for our efforts," said Mrs Calvert.
More than £1,000 was raised and split between two Cornish charities.
