Kingsbridge 10pts Camborne 27pts - Camborne enjoyed a comfortable passage into the Intermediate Cup 2nd round after seeing off a committed Kingsbridge.

Coach Brian Andrew was pleased with the disciplined defence and patience of his side against their Western Counties opposition.

In a late change Ryan Smith came in at lock for the injured Andrew Davison.

After an even opening period the Cherry & Whites went ahead with an interception try by fly half David Mankee that he also converted.

Half time arrived with the score still 7-0 but Mankee stretched Town's advantage with two early second half penalty successes.

Kingsbridge reduced the deficit with a penalty but soon after wing Richard Harris profited from Camborne's pressing defence to hack clear a spilt pass and follow up to touch down. Mankee added the conversion for a 17 point lead.

Young Dean Pascoe, who enjoyed a good debut, was replaced by Mark Fidock with 20 minutes remaining.

As the home side tired, centre Aisea Fisilau pounced on another mistake to race clear for the visitors' third try, again converted by Mankee, before the home side bagged a late consolation seven-pointer.
