THE proportion of reported domestic abuse cases brought to justice in the western area of Somerset has significantly increased over the past year, new figures reveal.
Almost three-quarters of reported offences were successful ly prosecuted over the past 12 months.
The improvement follows the launch at the begin ning of the year of a specialist court.
