Yeovil Town fell out of the Carling Cup competition last night (Tuesday) when they lost 2-1 at home to Championship outfit Millwall.

The Glovers dominated the first-half, but could not seize the advantage.

The opening 15 minutes of the second period was a disaster for Yeovil as Alan Dunne put the visitors ahead and Carl Asaba made it 2-0 to the Lions moments later.

And then to make matters worse Yeovil were reduced to ten-men when defender Liam Fontaine was sent-off for a professional foul.

But Yeovil never gave up and substitute Arron Davies ensured a grandstand finish when he netted with three minutes remaining.

Yeovil pressed hard, but could not find an equaliser although visiting manager Colin Lee said the Glovers had given him some 'scary' moments.
