ELDERY people across Burnham and Highbridge, most of which are on a limited income, will soon have to fork out nearly £100 extra if they want to keep healthy and fit.
That is the size of the price increase for OAPs who want to use King Alfred Sports Centre.
It is a price hike that equates to nearly 50 times the rate of inflation - making it very difficult for elderly people who live on limited resources to continue to use the centre.
