"MUM we have to get out of here - we are getting evacuated."
These are the words that struck fear into the heart of a Highbridge woman as she spoke to her East Huntspill daughter, who was this week holidaying in the Florida Keys before Hurricane Rita struck.
While Suzanne Evans was safe in her Somerset home thousands of miles away, Louise Pearce and her husband Adrian were being forced to flee their holiday resort on Monday for Naples, out of harm's way further up the coast.
