HOT rhythms of salsa on the sand got young and old hip-hopping on Minehead beach on Sunday.
Pupils from West Somerset Community College, St Michaels First School,Minehead and members of Minehead's Youth Club performed dances inspired by their coastal lives -- encouraging people of all ages to join in.
The performances marked the culmination of a three-month residency by dancer and choreographer Viv Gordon, as part of a major region-wide art project called Tide and Time.Viv said: "The groups have been using dance as a means of exploring their thoughts about living on the Somerset the coast.
"The resulting work highlights some of their thoughts on coastal life and the British seaside holiday."
