A MAN who died following a head on collision on the A38 at Stonegallows, Taunton, has been named as 34-year-old James Alexander Dunn of Taunton.
Mr Dunn's Honda CRX was being followed by police, after he allegedly failed to stop at an earlier accident outside the Crown and Sceptre Pub in Priory Bridge Road.
The 32-year-old male driving the second car, a maroon Ford Escort, was taken to Musgrove Park Hospital but died from his injuries on Monday afternoon.
He has yet to be named.
