FALMOUTH TOWN 7 WADEBRIDGE TOWN 0 - Falmouth Town were in devastating rip-roaring form at Bickland Park on Saturday as they produced their finest performance of the season to completely demolish fWadebridge Town.

Visiting 'keeper Mark Gears, who went on to have a fine game, was called into action with barely a minute on the clock, but Mike Body's mis-hit shot on the edge of the area fell invitingly to Dan Nancarrow whose sweetly struck shot was tipped over the bar by the onrushing Gears.

The visitor's only real effort of the game came on seven minutes when Chris Wolstencroft burst through and in a one-on-one with Penhaligon, the Town player-manager stood tall and tipped his effort around the post.

The breakthrough came in the 11th minute when Hartigan blasted home from 12 yards after Sundercombe's shot rebounded off the post.

With Town overwhelmingly dominant and a second goal was always in the offing and it came in the 25th minute. Nancarrow ran on to a through ball and from a narrow angle slotted the ball into the corner from 12 yards.

Six minutes later and to most people's surprise, Falmouth were 3-0 up. Out of nothing, Body hit a snap shot from the edge of the box which rolled along the ground and into the net via the post.

A minute before half-time Town secured a four goal lead when Body battled his way past former Town defender Paul Waters before shooting past the 'keeper.
