New signing Andy Yates came in at fly half for the Cherry AND& Whites and certainly got the threequarter line moving.
Scrum half David Mankee put Camborne in front with a penalty but the home side countered with a converted try.
At the end of the 1st quarter centre Aisea Fisilau touched down following a flowing handling move for Mankee to convert for a 7-10 scoreline.
Down to 14 men Camborne conceded 8 points before wing James Richards cut inside from his flank for the visitors 2nd try which Mankee converted for a slender two point advantage.
