A HIGHBRIDGE man has been jailed after he gave his depressed cousin a drug in a misguided effort to steer him clear of suicidal thoughts - only for the drug to kill him.
Taunton Crown Court heard this week that Scott Soloman had been afraid his cousin Carl Wright was thinking of slashing his wrists.
He gave him a dose of methodone in a bid to help him sleep.
