AS carnival clubs make their plans for this year's extravaganza, good causes around Ilminster are benefiting from last year's parade.
On Sunday, carnival organisers gathered in Ilminster Parish Hall to present the proceeds from last year's event to local groups.
The main beneficiary was Musgrove Leukaemic Group/Children's Oncology Unit which received £2,500.
