THIS striking image is a glimpse of the future as world famous Ilminster firm Gooch and Housego unveils £4million plans for the former Clarks factory at Dowlish Ford.
As reported, the opto-electronics giant is moving from the Old Magistrates' Court buildings in Market Square to the former shoe factory on the edge of town.
The company gained full planning permission on Monday from South Somerset District Council, paving the way for a flagship development. The move will allow expansion and provide a new purpose-built factory.
