POLICE yesterday (Wednesday) named the second victim of a head-on crash that also claimed the life of a Wellington chef.
Mechanic Broderick 'Ricky' Rice, 32, died in Musgrove Park Hospital on Monday following the collision with a car driven by Cleve Hotel and Country Club chef James Alexander Dunn, 34, shortly after 10pm on Saturday.
Mr Dunn, who was being pursued by police after failing to stop at an earlier accident, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Mr Dunn lived with his mother Christine Darby in Poplar Close, but she did not want to comment when contacted by the County Gazette. He had worked as a chef at the Cleve Hotel, in Wellington, for six months.
