A POPULAR Falmouth newsagents has been sold to a couple from Liverpool who are coming down to Cornwall in search of a new lifestyle. David and Wendy Frost have snapped up Rose's News from Paul and Josie Green, who purchased the business through Christie & Co in 2003 and are now upgrading to a larger business. Rose's News is an established news agency business with three-bedroom owner's accommodation, garden and parking. It is situated in Killigrew Street in the leafy suburbs on the edge of the town centre Paul Heather of Christie & Co, said: "It was great to sell Rose's News for a second time in such a quick sale. The exchange of contracts took place less than six weeks of the business formally coming onto the market - a firm indication of the strength of the retail sector, especially with newcomers wishing to relocate to the West Country." Rose's News was sold for an undisclosed figure, from an asking price of £235,000 for the freehold interest.
