THE Kwik Save supermarket in Wellington will finally close its doors today (Friday) after weeks of uncertainty for staff.
Somerfield Plc bought the store in the High Street in 1998 and in February plans were re-vealed to replace it with a new Somerfield store.
Following talks with bosses, the 17 members of staff hoped that their jobs might have been saved but they will be made re-dundant when the shop closes.
