BUS users in West Somerset have been making the most of a new addition to a community transport group.
ATWest has announced the arrival of its new purpose-built 16-seater minibus funded by Somerset County Council.
Like all its minibuses it has a tail-lift for wheelchair users and an electric sidestep to help those with limited mobility get on the bus.
Manager Barbara Middleton said: "We've had a lot of positive feedback from passengers, many of whom are taking advantage of the free bus travel now being offered by the county council.
"All our vehicles are available for hire by groups of elderly or disabled people, and those who can't access a normal bus route.
"Anyone in possession of a bus pass is also eligible for 100% concessionary fare on some journeys, and should discuss this when registering and booking."
ATWest is planning to introduce more services in future and is looking to employ a support worker to help in the day-to-day running of the charity.
