CHILDREN at Trull Primary School can now make their morning trip to school on a walking bus.
The children are dropped off at three “Park and Stride” points around the village where they can join the walking bus.
Tessa Deane, a parent at the school, set up the scheme.
She hopes the walking bus will help ease traffic congestion near the school. She said: “It also gives the children a bit of independence, a bit of exercise and there is also the social side of it.”
The bus picks children up from Trull Garage, Winchester Arms and the Crown Inn, Staplehay.
