Mel's Marathon - make a donation for 40 Commando's injured
SPONSORSHIP is already flowing in for a Marine from Taunton running a marathon inside his camp in Afghanistan.
Mel Melville and two Army colleagues are completing 19 laps of his compound in a secret location, where he is training members of the Afghan National Army, on September 11.
Almost £600 was donated for the 40 Commando Welfare Fund for injured Marines and their families within hours of a website link going live – to donate click on the Mel's Marathon link on this story.
