GOOD behaviour and a culture of caring among pupils and staff at Beech Grove primary school in Wellington has been officially recognised with a SEAL award.
The school earned the award for successfully carrying out a programme covering Social and Emotional Aspects of Learning over the past five years.
The programme is led by teacher Mrs Green who said: “The whole school is involved, from reception to Year 6, as well as the teachers.
“We get children to talk about issues, rather than confront one another, and try to make them happy with themselves.
“It has certainly been of great benefit, there is a great standard of behaviour in the school.”
