SOMERSET and England cricketer Craig Kieswetter has donated one of his shirts for auction at Cotford St Luke Primary School’s summer fete from 2pm to 4pm on Saturday.
Other items being auctioned include items from Lord Coe and an Olympic shirt signed by several British athletes.
Lots of stalls, a barbecue and refreshments tent, a craft marquee, pony rides and a storyteller added to an exciting set of arena events where the pupils will have lots of opportunity to entertain and show off their many talents, look set to make the occasion a great afternoon out.
A spokesperson for the school’s board of governors said: "As usual we’ve been bowled over by the kind support from donors to the auction and indeed the fete as a whole and cannot thank them all enough.
"Such support is a real fillip to the volunteers who have been working so hard to put the day on for the local community to enjoy and its thanks to them that we have a great event to look forward to this weekend.”
