STAPLEGROVE Church of England Primary School is holding a balloon race this Monday (October 10).
The event is sponsored by Taunton Racecourse, who is providing the winner with a family ticket to the family race day on October 25.
Balloons can be purchased on the day for £1 each and will be released by the school children who have sold the most balloons.
The balloon that travels the furthest will determine the winner.
Refreshments will be available and the race gets underway at 3.45pm.
