WEST Somerset's special constables have been honoured for their commitment at a special parade.
The ceremony was part of celebrations to mark the 175th Anniversary of the Special Constabulary.
Area Officer Simon Bale said: "The Specials who patrol West Somerset were rewarded by being presented the Walsh Trophy for their outstanding commitment and high duty hours.
"They perform more than 400 hours a month, which including general policing patrols, special events and crime prevention.
