TAUNTON Art Group starts 2017 on Wednesday, January 25 with a visit by well known west country artist Ray Balkwill.
The evening gets underway at 7pm with the Annual General Meeting after which the guest’s presentation will focus on ‘Every Picture Tells a Story.”
Ray Balkwill is not only a highly accomplished and well published artist based on the Exe Estuary, who specialises in water-colour and mixed media, but is also a very entertaining presenter and somebody not to be missed.
The February meeting takes place on Wednesday 22, when the demonstrator will be Celia Olsen on Using Texture in the Landscape.
Paul Weaver completes the spring line up on March 22 when he will focus on a City Scene in watercolour.
All meetings are held at the Comeytrowe Community Hall in Galmington, Taunton (TA1 4TY) and apart from the January meeting, get under way at 7.30pm.
Annual membership to Taunton Art Group costs just £20 and can be paid at the first meeting of the year.
