A British comedian has been forced to apologise after postponing her entire UK tour.
Laura Smyth announced the decision on Tuesday (September 22), citing the need to stay close to home following "personal family news."
Smyth is a comedian, writer, and actor who has appeared on Live At The Apollo, 8 out of 10 Cats Does Countdown, and Baby Reindeer.
She was due to kick off her 34-date Born Aggy UK tour on Thursday (September 24), with shows scheduled across the UK in London, Cardiff, Brighton, Liverpool, Birmingham, Edinburgh, and more.

But now, Smyth has announced she is postponing her entire UK tour.
In a post on Instagram, she said: "I am absolutely gutted to announce that my upcoming tour has to be postponed.
"My team and I have tried everything to make the tour go ahead as scheduled.
"This isn't a decision I've taken lightly, but due to some recent personal family news I now need to be close to home."
She thanked fans for their support and apologised for the disruption.
Smyth continued: "I am so grateful to everyone who has bought tickets and have been as excited as me about the tour.
"I appreciate this news will be frustrating and am so sorry for any inconvenience this postponement causes.
"I am looking forward to being able to update you with the new dates as soon as possible – all tickets will be transferable of course."
Her website states that tour dates will be rescheduled soon.
Smyth also shared that she will be stepping back from social media for a while.
She said: "I will also be taking some time away from social media, but hope to stay in contact through the podcast, and other work I can do during this time.
"I appreciate you all so much.
"Love you all and thank you for your patience and understanding."
