TEMPERATURES could drop as low as -4C in Somerset tonight, forecasters warn.
A sunny start to the day in the county today - getting rid of ice after a cold night - will see temperatures reach a balmy 7C, the Met Office says, before things take a turn for the chilly this evening.
"Most places will stay cold and clear through the day, but it will cloud over with some rain arriving later, and skies will begin to turn cloudy," a forecaster said.
"Cloudier for many through the evening, with outbreaks of rain arriving into the early hours, which will turn heavy at times. Minimum temperature -4C."

Friday would see heavy showers on and off through the morning, the forecaster added, with gales, perhaps severe in exposed areas.
"Some drier and brighter spells are likely, particularly into the afternoon as the showers ease," he said.
