A SPECIAL education school in Taunton is looking for 100 brave people to help them raise money for its charity appeal.

Selworthy School launched its SPLASH appeal in November 2017 in order to raise the funds for a new hydotherapy pool for the students.

In a bid to raise the money, the school is hosting a fire walking event.

The walk will take place on Saturday, November 17, at the school.

The walk is ran by company UK Firewalk.

The training is being run by Scott Bell, twice Guinness World record holder for greatest distance walked on fire.

Selworthy School fundraising lead, Cameron Merry, said: “All of the money raised from our fire walk will help our Selworthy SPLASH Appeal, enabling us to rebuild our hydrotherapy pool.

"This specialist facility gives our learners with a physical disability the best possible opportunity to reach their potential.”
