The last two days have seen an extraordinary level of snow and disruption across Somerset - will things start moving again tomorrow?

Here is the latest weather forecast from the Met Office.

Tonight will remain cold and windy with further outbreaks of rain, sleet and snow moving north and becoming light and patchy as the night progresses with and amber weather warning still in place.

Further rain showers will follow and it will remain windy, meaning there is a risk of black ice forming so do take care.

Tomorrow will be cold, windy and rather cloudy with further outbreaks of light rain, sleet and mainly hill snow during the day. It will become less cold at around 3C meaning the ice and snow will begin to gradually thaw.

Thankfully the outlook for Sunday to Tuesday is that it will turn milder, however there will be a lot of low cloud, some hill fog and rain at times. The risk of overnight frost and ice will remain.
