Two Somerset players have been selected for a four-day match against the touring Sri Lanka side at Worcester.
Kasey Aldridge and James Rew will face the touring side at New Road starting on Wednesday, August 14.
Rew was previously named in an England Lions training squad alongside Shoaib Bashir who has gone on to make his England debut.
England Men Under-19s quartet Farhan Ahmed, Eddie Jack, Ben McKinney and Hamza Shaikh are also included after the recent Young Lions home series against Sri Lanka.
Gloucestershire’s Zaman Akhter, who is a graduate of the South Asian Cricket Academy, earns his first call-up to the Lions.

England Men’s Performance Director, Ed Barney, said: “We’ve selected an exciting squad which brings a balance of exceptionally high-potential cricketers and proven performance. This selection follows on from the First-Class Counties representative XI fixture early in the summer where some of the brightest talent excelled against the West Indies.”
