The Cothelstone ground was in great shape for the annual Taunton Vale Easter Monday fixture.
The event attracted 31 runners and a large crowd, who also enjoyed a family dog show.
Jockey Ed Doggrell, who had been absent from the saddle since May 2018, made a striking comeback this season for trainer Chris Barber with three wins.
Mr Doggrell and Mr Barber's first win came in the Conditions race when Move With The Beat, fresh off a win at Chilfrome, outpaced Southfield Theatre.
Mr Barber said: "The horse’s confidence has just grown and grown this season with every win and he’s a proper horse."
Their second victory came in the following race with Famous Clermont, who repeated his win at Cothelstone earlier in the season.
The duo's third win was with Top of Off in the finale, a Maiden race.
Mr Barber said: "I’m not ashamed to say that this has made me really emotional.
"We bred the horse and he’s out of Definitelyanoscar who was the first winner I ever trained and bought on the advice of my grandfather.
"He’s her first foal too so this is a very special moment for us."
The opener, the Members race, was won by Ask Lileen, trained by Teresa Clark.
Ms Clark said: "She’s had lots of little niggly issues so today was just really a confidence boost and I am delighted how she has done it."
Will Biddick had a successful day, winning in the short Maiden on Gig in the Park and in the Restricted on Far Out West.
He rode Gig in the Park for owner Daniel Adams, who had initially purchased the gelding to race ride himself but passed on the opportunity after becoming a father.
He also trains mare Far Out West for the Hot Toddie Partnership.
Andy Pollard, head of the partnership, said: "We gave Will the task of buying us a horse at Doncaster Sales to go to Cheltenham and Punchestown with and he bought us Far Out West.
"That’s still the plan so there’s no pressure!"
