A NUMBER of lengthy roadworks schemes are starting in Somerset this week.
Various works in Western Way, Bridgwater, will take 79 working days to complete, while schemes in Glastonbury, Burleigh and Wells will all take more than 25 days.
The schemes are as follows.
MONDAY, JULY 4.
Western Way, Bridgwater, various works, 79 days.
Bretenoux Road and Butleigh Road, Glastonbury, various works, 30 days.
Blagrove Road, Butleigh, various works, 30 days.
Church Lane, Chilcompton, structural repairs, 15 days.
Glanville Road, Wedmore, excavation for water mains.
Partway Lane, Hardington Mandeville, new sewer connection, one day.
Clapton Road, Clapton, repair damaged pipe.
WEDNESDAY, JULY 5.
Wellington Road, Taunton, survey required.
THURSDAY, JULY 6.
Mountery Road and Milton Lane, Wells, traffic signal refurbishment, 25 days.
Strawberry Lane South, Wells, traffic signal refurbishment, 20 days.
SATURDAY, JULY 8.
West Shepton, Shepton Mallet, resurfacing, four days.
