IF you fancy a shot at becoming the next Miss Taunton, there's still time to get your application in.
Taunton Carnival Committee has extended the deadline for the competition to find the next Miss Taunton, who will also be the Taunton Carnival Queen.
But you'd better hurry - entries have to be in by next Friday (January 12).
Carnival committee chairman Marilyn House said: "Taunton Carnival Committee is extremely disappointed with the number of entries for the 2018 competition.
"The good news, however, is that there is still time to enter as the closing date has been extended to Friday, January 12."
