MORE than 400 runner braved the cold to shake off the festive cobwebs at the Stoke Stampede yesterday (Sunday).
They were cheered on around the lanes and the village of Stoke St Gregory as they took on the annual 10k challenge.
The popular race helped raise funds for the village playing fields.
