TARTAN, whisky and haggis fuelled a spectacular evening at King’s College when it hosted its fifth Burns’ Night celebration.
A total of 60 guests packed the dining hall for the supper – most sporting kilts and a touch of traditional Scottish colour.
The event was organised by the Parents and Friends Association and was held on Thursday, January 25.
Organisers said they “followed the traditional programme with its Address to the Haggis and a fine dinner of cock-a-leekie, macsween haggis with Whisky Sauce and a tempting tipsyl laird trifle, up to and including the oration, The Immortal Memory and the Toast to Robbie Burns.”
