A TRACTOR used to rescue a woman in a 'life or death' situation has been recovered from Minehead beach.
Crew from Minehead RNLI launched a rescue mission yesterday (January 29) to save a woman who had become stuck while trying to cross from Minehead seafront to the harbour.
She was one of four people who found themselves trapped while trying to make the crossing.

Her companions – and their two dogs – managed to struggle free but the woman remained stuck - and quickly surrounded by the incoming tide.
But on rescuing the woman, the tractor was abandoned as it too had become stuck.
Volunteer crew from Minehead RNLI went down to the beach and recovered the tractor at 11am today (January 31).
