A PITCH inspection is needed before Taunton's Evo-Stik Southern league game at Merthyr Town tonight can go ahead (7.45pm).
The Penydarren Park pitch was covered in snow over the weekend and although this has now thawed, the pitch is waterlogged and heavy rain is forecasted.
If the match takes place, Taunton will have their work cut out against Merthyr who are currently third in the table and are unbeaten in their last six league fixtures.
Rodney Marsh and Nat Pepperell are injury doubts after both going off at Yate on Saturday while Ben Mammola is unavailable due to work commitments.
