JIM Dyte with 41 points was the winner of the Senior's Stableford at Taunton Vale Golf Club on Thursday, one ahead of second placed Cyril Griffin who came back in with 40.
Bernard Reed ended in third place with 36 points, Paul Evans was fourth, but only after countback put him ahead of fifth placed Jim Tilden after both scored 35.
Roger Dimond was seventh with 33 points, but countback was needed to separate the next three players after which it was Gerry Storey who was eighth, Dave Read was ninth and Graham Clew tenth, all three having scored 32.
In the Men's Section Bogey competition the top division was won by Geoff Hill with +4, but the next two players both returned with +2, needing countback to separate them at the end of which it was Kevin Parker who was second and Pete Scarrett third.
Two players came back in with +3 to head the second division, but after countabck over the back six holes it was Adrian Jones who came out on top, with Nick Sealey having to settle for second, while Alan Bowey was third with +1 (b9).
Terry Hodge was the clear winner of Divison Three with +6, four ahead of second placed Bob Aird who returned with +2, with Bill Kingdom third with +1.
