THE men from Taunton Bowling Club entertained a representative U-25's Somerset side and enjoyed a good win against the youngsters' with the final score being 83-41.
Veteran Mike Carson led his rink to an excellent 33-12 win. Other skips saw wins for Peter Shaw 28-12 and Don Ormisher 22-17.
n A mixed side beat Puriton 41-33 with skip Graham Warburton 22-10 and John Adams 19-23.
Another mixed side lost to Padbrook 55-57. Skips Doreen Buck 20-16, Les Ireland 17-15 and Keith McCarthy 18-26.
n A men's side beat Civil Service away in a single rink match. Skips Len Hunt 15 and David Carter 6.
