BISHOPS Lydeard completed the double in the U-11 section of the Tony Pryce Taunton and District Youth League after defeating Blackbrook Wolves 7-0 in the KO Cup final at the Civil Service Club on Saturday.

Josh Wadham led the scoring spree with four goals, while Richard Wike, Dan Rottenbury and Jordan Clapp were also on target.

Heathfield look certain to claim twin honours in the U-15 section after defeating Avishayes, their closest rivals in the league, 4-0 in the KO Cup final at Wordsworth Drive on Sunday.

Josh Martin set the Jags on their way with a free kick after Corez Lewis had been fouled. Tom Batement doubled the lead from the penalty spot after another foul on Lewis who gained his reward by scoring twice later in the game.

Sam Raywood was the Jags' man-of-the-match for a fine display in defence.

Sunday's other KO Cup final at Wordsworth Drive was in the U-13 section and saw Holway pip Twyford Spartans A 1-0. The only goal of the game came in the second half when Holway's skipper Luke Redrup broke forward to score with a fine finish.
