TAUNTON Deane swimmer Charlie Attwood was on top form at the Ontario Junior International Meet last week (December 4-6), winning three silver medals as part of the Great Britain team.
On day one Attwood swam 1:00.69 to take his first silver in the 18&U 100m Breaststroke, which was won by USA swimmer Michael Andrew (58.32)
In the 18&U 200m Breaststroke, Attwood improved on his 2:13.78 prelim time to record 2:13.37 for silver in the final won by team mate Edward Baxter (2:11.47).
Attwood (27.92) came up against Andrew again on day three in the 50m event (27.10) to make it three silvers from three events.
Impressive swims by Great Britain girls saw Kathleen Dawson win top female performance award (three backstroke events, three records) and Tazmin Pugh set a new British Junior Record in the 100 Fly.
