Wellington AFC 0, Willand Rovers 3

WELLINGTON suffered their second defeat of the season to second-placed Willand Rovers, although it was a significant improvement on their 11-0 thrashing in the reverse fixture.

Joe Chamberlain saw red for the hosts, with former Taunton Town striker Craig Veal scoring a goal in each half for Willand, and Ryan Guppy adding a third.

The good news for the Tangerines is that all three of the sides below them in the table also lost, with Wellington hosting fifth-placed Buckland Athletic next Saturday (ko 3pm).
