TAUNTON St Andrew’s Under-15s made it through to the last 16 of the ECB National Under-15 Cup with victory over Parley at the Wyvern Club on Sunday.
It was a thumping victory, too, as the Saints rolled out their visitors for just 73 with Jamie Lee (3-13) and captain Jacob Hockey (3-10) among the wickets.
INCOMING: Saints' Freddie Wolfenden.
Come the reply, James Rew made an unbeaten 42 at the top of the order as St Andrew’s strolled home by nine wickets inside 10 overs, with Harrison Barrett adding 19 not out.
The Saints now progress to the South & West finals day at Wembdon CC this Monday (July 30), where they will take on Bovey Tracey and, should they emerge victorious, will then play the winners of Hook & Newnham against Bristol YMCA.
